RESUMES NEGOTIATIONS Negotiations on a new working work-ing agreement were resumed May 26 by the International Association As-sociation of Machinists, and the Utah Copper Division of Kenne-cott Kenne-cott Copper Corporation. The conferees spent the morning morn-ing in the copper company offices of-fices in the Kearns building and progress was made on an agreement agree-ment for the coming year, according ac-cording to H. B. Egbert, business representative of the machinists, and Roy Hatch, director of labor . relations for the copper firm. I In addition to Mr. Egbert, the I machinists union was represented represent-ed in the contract negotiations by James Carrigan and R. A. Lund, members of the negotiating negotiat-ing committee. H. L. Garrity, superintendent of mines, D. C. Houston, director of industrial relations and Mr. Hatch represented repre-sented the copper company. |
