A dinner party was given last Thursday evening in honor of KSK club members and partners by Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Camp of Bingham. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. J. Lynn Booth, Mr. and Mrs. Elmo A. Nelson, Mr. and Mrs. Hvman Smernoff, Mr. and Mrs. David O. Stoker, Mr. and Mrs. Robert E. Pullan and Mr. and Mrs. Carl A. Curtis. Girl Scouts and Brownies of Copperton enjoyed a weiner roast Saturday afternoon. Leaders Lead-ers accompanying them were Mrs. Harriet Bolton, Mrs. Norene Smernoff, Ruth Burnett and Mrs. Emily Ablett. Sally and Barbara Brown were guests this week in Springville of their grandmother, Mrs. Sara Loin. Mr. and Mrs. Allan Peterson and Jay Cheever of Salt Lake City were week end guests at the hom:1 of Mr. and Mrs. Henry A. Cheever. Mr, and Mrs. Roland Robinson and family of Grace, Idaho, were guests this week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. David O. Stoker and family. Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Peterson were Mr. and Mrs. Les Smith of Mid-vale, Mid-vale, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Pierce of Brigham City, Mr. and Mrs. Alec Long and family of Springville, and Irving Smith and daughter Dorothy of Hanford, Calif. The girls numbered off, dividing into two groups. Group number one left at 1:30, making the trail and hiding the treasure and group number two left at 2:30, following the trail and finding find-ing the treasure. The treasures were found by Ann Diederich and Patricia Ablett. Troop leaders lead-ers attending the cook-out were Mrs. William Ablett, Mrs. Merrill Mer-rill Bolton, Mrs. Hyman Smernoff Smer-noff and Miss Barnett. The cook-out cook-out was enjoyed by all who participated. par-ticipated. The girls who spent the week end at the MIA home at Brighton returned home Sunday evening. Trudy Douglas left Monday evening ev-ening for Glendale, Calif., to visit with relatives for the remainder of the summer vacation. Joseph Carl who has been spending the summer vacation with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph McDonald left Tuesday Tues-day for his home in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Mrs. Gladys O'Conner of Salt Lake City ' spent the week end at the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Fike and family. The girls who spent the week at Camp Cloud Rim returned home Sunday afternoon. Doris Poulson was a week end guest at the home of Nancy Hancock Han-cock of Salt Lake City. Copperton Girl Scput troop 98 enjoyed a swimming party at Black Rock Wednesday afternoon. after-noon. Those who participated were Bonnie Skinner, Sally Brown, Margy Parker, Colleen Mannion, Pat Ablett, Sandra Laycock, Audrey Ann Sumnicht, Mrs. L. W. Sumnicht, Mrs. J. D. Laycock and son Dee.
