UTAH LAKE WElL ILL FILLED WITH BASS Arthur Carter Advises Protection Protection Pro Pro- Against Birds PROVO May 27 There There are more bass bassIn bassIn bassin In Utah lake at the present time than I have seen there In at least ten years said Arthur Carter this morning Mr Carter has spent y years ars on the lake and Is In a position to know whereof he speaks He declared that the young bass could be seen by the thousands In water from six inches to three feet deep Mr Carter also said that the great enemy of the bass especially In Utah lake were already on the ground the ground the blue heron pelicans squawks and black loon The spawning season has not yet Jet commenced for the bass and unless something Is done tens of thousands willbe will willbe willbe be destroyed by these birds Mr Carter sug suggests ests that the state fish and game department and the sportsmen take up a fight tight on the fish destroying birds before they do great damage
