They sail , April 28 for Denmark whore they will meet their son, Douglas, who has spent the last two and one-half years doing missionary work for the LDS church. They 1 expect to tour through the European Euro-pean countries and England be-1 fore returning. j Beverly Seal of Midvale spent I the week end visiting with her I parents, Mr. and Mrs. Horace I Seal and family. She has spent the past week vacationing in Rock Springs, Wyo., with relatives rela-tives and friends. Mr .and Mrs. Eugene Peterson of Midvale visited Friday and Saturday of Inst week with Mr and Mrs. P. W. Peterson and family. I Tuesday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Sweat were Mrs. Sweat's three sisters, Mrs. Orel Kuhni of Heber, Mrs. L. Murri and Mrs. Gladys Hillon of Salt Lake City and her son Allen Giles of Heber. The 509 club met Wednesday at the home of Mrs. Viva Sweat. A delicious luncheon was served after which five hundred was played. First prize was won by Mrs. Jennie Ball, cut prize by Mrs. Millie Wykert and travel ing prize by Mrs. Ila Coombs. Others present were Mrs. Rita Rostrum, Mrs. Bessie Bigler, Mrs. Betty Oliver, Mrs. Norma Halli-day Halli-day and Mrs. Bernadine Linck. A banquet is being sponsored by the Lark ward MIA officers for all officers and teachers and their partners of Lark ward on Saturday, April 16. Mid-vale. Jayne Bigler spent last week end in Logan with friends. A farewell testimonial honoring honor-ing Elmer Duane Thorpe of Salt Lake City, son of Mr. and' Mrs. Bert Thorpe, who is leaving for the eastern states mission for the LDS church, will be held Sunday, Sun-day, April 17 at 7 p.m. All Lark residents who know him are invited in-vited to attend. Duane, with his family, lived in Lark a number of years. We all wish him success suc-cess and happiness in his work. The 500' club met Wednesday as guests of Mrs. Elva Baum., A luncheon was served after which five hundred was played. First prize went to Mrs. Mary Gress-inen, Gress-inen, second to Mrs. Delta Turner Turn-er of Lchi, and house prize was won by Mrs. Virginia McCarty. Others present were Mrs. Olive Allinson, Mrs. Edna Medley, Mrs. Cecily Jackson, Mrs. Betty Kiral and Mrs. Flossie Raper. A candy pull was enjoyed at the home of La Von Anderson last Friday by Joy Seal, Leora Hemmingsen, lara Kinsley and Isabel Abreu. Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Michael-son Michael-son announce the birth of a son Tuesday, April 12 at Cottonwood maternity home. - Mr. and Mrs. David Neilsen of Mona were overnight guests recently re-cently of their son and family, Mr. and Mrs. Leland Neilsen. Mrs. Maude Giles entertained Wednesday for ntembers of her bridge club. Luncheon was served serv-ed after which cards were enjoyed. en-joyed.
