| Show JOSEPH OSEP STRENG DIES IN OGDEN OEM HOSPITAL Special to The Telegram OGDEN March 5 Joseph Joseph Streng who was Injured in an elevator levator accident accident acci acci- dent in the Colonel Hudson building here Wednesday night died at the Dee general hospital here shortly after midnight mid mid- night He H was caught In an el elevator v tor shaft haft at the Colonel Hudson building on Hudson avenue Wednesday night at about 12 o'clock since which time he has lain unconscious at the Dee hos- hos pital His head was badly fractured and concussion of the brain ensued He and others came down the elevator which worked automatically but it caught in some way and stopped midway midway midway mid mid- way down the building from the Weber club J J. J D. D Larsen opened a side door with his cane and crawled through Streng followed but when his head WAS just outside the elevator shaft the machine machine machine ma ma- chine began to move moye downward catching catching catching catch catch- ing Streng about the head and body Joseph Strong Strong- was born at Hidden- Hidden bauch Bavaria 53 63 years ago agu He came cameto cameto cameto to Utah when only 14 4 years old since which time he lie has lived either In Ogden or Corinne most of f the time in Ogden He lIe is survived by his wife Eva Pett Streng a daughter Irene Streng who is now on her way fr m New York a brother In Denver Dener and another In New York For a number of years Mr Streng has represented the Eisman Brothers Brothers' I company of Boston In the purchase of wool and was considered t tie the e most popular and successful wool man of the west |
