L Young matron of the local juvenile jU court She had for her subject Home flame Finding and the Dependent Mothers Act She gave ave a short history histon of the movement Cor tor support of ot dependent mothers in the state and told details of the plan by which mothers with families families' and without adequate funds to support them may te receive elve assistance assistance assistance assist assist- assist assist- ance from the state It Is not h in any senst sense a charity she said but in the state or or county paying the mother for tor bringing up future citizens in the best possible way where the circumstances are suck that help Ip is needed The pensions pensions pen pen- are given to mothers or widows with minor children where application application tion lion Is made and the conditions are within the law The pension here is distributed by bythe bythe bythe the juvenile court an and Mrs l Young who has direct charge of it said this morning that last year was distributed The cost of distribution was exactly 1475 1476 so that almost the entire allowed for the fund reached the persons for tor whom It was intended Dr D.
