Patrolman Patrol-man Carstense saya that aha was drunk and that be and hi associate officer had to carry her part of tb wav to the police station. Mra. Moore said that she told the policemen thst she wss not drunk and volunteered th Information if thev arrested ar-rested her they would have to "pack" her to jail. They say tbey did It. Mrs. Moor waa at the point ef bve-teria bve-teria during her trial, rte told Jurlg Bowman 'that sh was looking for a friend to tske her bom whea b was mated. Mb aaid that all an had drank during the Bight wss four or five bottle of beer. When Mr. Moor was sent horn by Judge Bowman she forgot th danger of being in contempt aud aaid: "All right, judge; goodbye," aa be waved ar hand at the court, Mrs. Moore waa aever arrested before be-fore snd her fao bore tb indication of refinement. |
