Demand from the east was very good, and local buyers took their full share. Today the run le li.OOO head here, the largest supply sup-ply this spring, and It looked Like lower prices at the start. As was the ess last week order buyers appeared In the selling sell-ing alleys with good slsed orders, and th general market on killing stun ruled steady to strong all through th session. One load of llOO-pound steers brought M today, and fed panhandles reached M10. which looked a little better than anything did last week. Blockers end feeders ar oft! Ik to tk cent today. Ther is a break every summer about this time. Pasture ar usually filled up 'by this time, and th demand begins to lag. Besides, Be-sides, today there Is a heavy percentage of thin cattle In the receipts. Including a lot of southwest Missouri stuff. A heavy quarantine run today is another feature, 1ZJ carloads, market on same steady to 10 cents lower. This Is the first good run of quarantines to arrive here this season.
