Show successful race; meet predicted "' BT LEE DEMIEE. With the opening of the new race track at the Lagoon but a few days off, race followers and the public In general are commencing to show considerable con-siderable Interest in the coming local meet. Salt Lake devotees will be Introduced In-troduced on Tuesday, May 30, to as pretty a race course as It is possible to find anywhere in the western country, and, with the great number of high claaa horses coming and already her and the well known people at th head of th project. It Is sure to be a meeting of the highest order, and will do much toward advertising this section aa a summer racing center. The track is within easy access of both bslt Lake city and Ogdcn, and will h ve good trsnsportation via the Bamberger electric system, which will let patrons off right 'st the gates.. A feature that will take with the public, and which will be a novelty to the visiting turfmen, is the privileges of the Lagoon resort to all thoso holding admission tickets to the track. A large following of turfmen from the cost willtlesve that section on a special train, reaching here a few daya before- the opening. Such well known bookmakers as Johnny Lrons, W. R-Kngstrom, R-Kngstrom, Ham Bradley, Wank Bain, Joe Rose, Joe Rchrieber and George Rose will be among the crowd. Coming from the cast in ample time to cut in the first day will be Al Ko-engxherger, Ko-engxherger, "Little" Henry, K. J. Soule, "Billv" Uuinlnn, Markio Moses.
