Yesterday Royle obtained a temporary Injunction In the Supreme court restraining; the production pro-duction of the play. The statement is made that ever since Royle was commissioned to write "Cleo," which Is a revised version of "Article Forty-Seven." there has been friction between be-tween him and Mrs. Carter. Royle refused to be Interviewed yesterday, but last night Mrs. Royle explsined that her husband hus-band had been moved to obtain the injunction in-junction because tbe manuscript of the play had ben so changed that he felt It woult be an injustice to himself and the publid to permit of Its production. |
