Show Kiwanian Dedicate Ogden Camping Park OODEN. July l!. The formal giving giv-ing of th camping snd picnicking park to Ogden by the Klwanl club and th acceptance by Mayor Frank Ft a acts took place last sight at 7:1 In South Fork canyon. Tha grounds were arranged for under the direction of the Klwanls club, which built the bridge over th river riv-er and provided th benches and table for camper. The bridge opens up a beautiful camping park, whero tho publls may enjoy outdoor out-door life without chargo. , W. 1L Boeder, district governor of Klwanls, delivered tho dedication address and Mayor Francis accept-od. accept-od. Commissioners Oscar B. Mad-son Mad-son snd Arthur F. Larson spok for tho city; John Child, chairman of tho oounty commission, for th county, and Prealdenl A. M. Merrill for th club. Other speakers were John Culley, George Kelley and Mrs. Gladys P. Young. Following the spesches, a musical musi-cal program was given, during which "hot dors" and coffe were oerved around a bonflr. |
