In their story to him. they slate that on last Tuesday Willing-ham Willing-ham went to ths home of one of th girls and told her mother that he waa going to California and that a farewell party waa being given In hla honor that night and requeoted permlelon to tak th your lady to th party. Needing a larger automobile than the one they had. they sent a fake message to ' Wllllngham'a brother, who operates a gerag her, asking him to com to River-dale River-dale to haul In a wracked car. As soon as Wllllngham had gone on thla trio they went to tha garage where Toller was m charge and took a large touring car and Toller and went to Ely. In Ely they heard that warrants were out for them and decided to bring the car back to Ogden to avoid prosecution for larceny. This they did. leaving ths girls In Kly. and war planning t- go In Denver when they wer arrested. They are being held In lail pending advice ad-vice from th federal authorities at Salt Lake. |
