Show ADAMS CASE TO 00 TO JURY SOON Arguments in the Famous Trial in Wallace; Ida., Begin; Judge Richardson Arraigns Detectives. WALLACE. Ida., March 4. "Steve-Adams "Steve-Adams is only a pawn m the great game that is being played. When Gov. Gooding, Good-ing, the leader of this great State, pressed his Hps to -those of Adams' innocent inno-cent babe, did he believe that he was kissing the child of a criminal the child of one of the grossest criminals in all the world? The prosecutors in thi scase do not believe Adams Is guilty. They never did believe It. That they ever should believe be-lieve It la incredible. So declared Judge E. F. Richardson this morning in his plea to the jury to acquit 8teve Adams of the crime of killing Fred Tyler. He based his plea upon the theory that the State is only making use of Ad-, ams for the purpose of convicting others that this trial is but the side play In the great battle between the Mine Owners' Own-ers' association and the Wester nFedera-tion nFedera-tion of Miners. This afternoon he will be followed by Clarence Darrow, arguing for the defense. By tomorrow afternoon the case may be in the Jury's hands.
