Show GALVESTON BILLS ARE INDORSED BY CIVIC LEAGUE ASSOCIATION At a meeting of the Civic Improve-ment Improve-ment league held last night the following fol-lowing resolution was passed and a committee appointed to wait on the committee of the lower house of the Legislature and urge upon them the advantages of passing the so-called Galveston Gal-veston bill. Following is the resolution passed by the board of governors of the league: Resolved, That the board of governors gov-ernors of the Civic Improvement league of Salt Lake City express its hearty satisfaction at the prompt and unanimous unani-mous passage of tbe so-called Galveston bill by the honorable State Senate; and further, "That we believe the very great importance im-portance of this bill to the people of cm citv merits the same prompt and JTvvble consideration by the honor- )e House of Representatives; and fur-(nek fur-(nek "That it is our firm conviction after careful investigation anH consideration that the interest of our citv will be best served by the passage of this bill in its present form. "Resolved, That a copy of this resolution reso-lution be sent to our State Senate in care of its president, the Hon. Stephen H. Love, and also to our State House of Representatives, in care of its Speaker, the Hon. Harry S. Joseph, by the secretary sec-retary of tbe league." |
