Show ' OUDER RESIGNS HIS POST WITH THE CITY John Dodar, assistant city engineer Bine January. 1912, and who haa batn connected with the city engineering d-pa d-pa rtment for a number of years, hu tendered ten-dered his resignation to City Engineer 8. Q. Cannon to take affect about Juna 15. Mr. Cannon said thia morning that he had not yet decided whom ha would appoint ap-point to Piicceed Mr. Duder. During tha paat several months there baa been friction reported between R P Morris, commissioner of streets, and Mr. Duder, It being claimed by tbe commissioner commis-sioner of streets that the east st ant etty engineer was a disturbing element In the office of the dty engineer. It has also been charged that Mr. Duder took an active part In trying to keep the Inspection Inspec-tion of public works under the direction of the city engineer instead of under the direction of the oommaaaloner of streets. Upon leaving the olty engineer's office Mr. Duder will enter the employ of the A A. Clark company |
