Show I LARGEST TROUT EVER CAUGHT IN UTAH Wfi k MBf . The above picture shows Leo and Arthur Anderson, brothers, of Glen-wood, Glen-wood, Utah, holding up two lake trout, the largest weighing twentv-three and the smaller nine pounds. It represents a day s catch made by the boys at' Fish lake on the afternoon of July 5. Leo Anderson landed the twenty-three-pounder and therefore holds the distinction of having caught the largest 'trout ever landed in the state. The previous record was held by Fred W. Chambers, state fish and game commissioner, who hauled one out of the same lake weighing twenty pounds and six ounces.' The brothers used a copper wire line, 150 feet long, with large spinners for lure. The accompaning photograph was taken by William J. Seely, speaker of the last T'tah legislature, who vouchee for the weight of tho fish caright. |
