There are 2&O.000 acres of whst was the beet farm land In ths state, mostly bottom lands, that wars cultivated by the early settlers which Is now water logged and as a result, worthless. Unless the remedy Is applied there will be soon 000. 000 acres of such land, aald Mr. Hart. Mr. Hart went on to aay that by applying ap-plying scientific principles this land rould all be reclaimed and that tha heat Investment of today was being overlooked by capitalists in Ignoring the increasing needs of reclamation right on the edge of their cities.
