It is euimalent to an election. elec-tion. He received 35 votes 10 23, which were scattered among Joseph L. Wilson, the .resident 's brother, former Senator Obadiuh Gardner of Maine and others. After renominating Thomas H. Keller Kel-ler of West Virginia as assistant doorkeeper door-keeper on the Democratic side, the caucus cau-cus adjourned. The break in senate Democratic ranks yesterday with the indorsement of Senator i'larke over Senator Bacou for the position of president presi-dent pro tempore, had intensified the feeling that existed between the party factions when the caucus resumed its sessions today.
