The governor reappointed O. J. McShane aa a member of the I a Lata Industrial commission in place of W, P. Monxon. whoae term haa expired." The senate re-" fuaed to confirm the appointment of Mr. MrShnne and the governor haa made a recca appointment . which will carry until the meeting meet-ing of the next legislature. - James Ivers, who, like Mr. McShane, Mc-Shane, failed of confirmation by the senate, was reappointed to the position on the board of corrections correc-tions and charities In succession to John I-ynch, whoae term haa expired. Both the appointment of Mr. McShane and Mr. Ivers were refused confirmation on the ground that they were members of the fourteenth legislature which had made changes In the laws and that. therefore, they were disqualified to hold the places to which the governor had named them.
