An ordinance creating the office of-fice of Superintendent of Waterworks Water-works and Sewers, and the office of Superintendent of Streets, fixing fix-ing the compensation and defining defin-ing the duties of said offices. Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Bingham Canyon, Utah: Section 1. The office of Superintendent Super-intendent of Waterworks -and Sewers and the office of Superintendent Super-intendent of Streets are hereby created. These offices shall be filled by appointment by the City Council and the appointees shall serve during the pleasure of the City Council. Section 2. The Superintendent of Waterworks and Sewers shall receive as full compensation for his services the sum of $285.00 per month, payable monthly or semi-monthly as may be determined deter-mined by the City Council. Section 3. The Superintendent of Waterworks and Sewers shall have full charge of the Waterworks Water-works and sewers under the jurisdiction jur-isdiction of the City of Bingham Canyon and shall make all improvements im-provements and repairs necessary neces-sary to the same subject to the approval of the City Council. It shall also be the duty of said officer of-ficer to operate and maintain the furnace in the City Hall, including includ-ing the firing and other work in connection with the operation of the said furnaca. Section 4. The Superintendent of Streets shall receive as full compensation for his services the sum of $275.00 per month, payable pay-able monthly or semi-monthly as may be determined by the City Council. Section 5. The Superintendent of Streets shall have full charge of the streets under the jurisdiction jurisdic-tion of the City of Bingham Canyon, Can-yon, and shall make all improvements improve-ments and repairs necessary to the same subject to the approval of the City Council. Section 6. The office of Superintendent Super-intendent of Streets, Waterworks and Sewers is hereby abolished |
