The Seagulls of Copperton ward Primary held their Valen-tine party Monday. Refreshments were served. The home of Mrs. George A. Gadd was the scene Wednesday evening of a lovely surprise birth day party honoring Mrs. Albert Ray. Games were piayed and pri-zes won by Mrs. M. E. Olsen, Mrs D. B. Fitzgerald, Mrs. Cecil Downs and Mrs. Milton Lancas-ter. Others participating were Mrs. O. C. Hudson, Mrs. Ernest Nichols, Mrs. L. E. Barnett and Mrs. Marvin Ray. Russell Kay celebrated his fourth birthday Monday, Febru-ary 14 with a party given at his home by his mother, Mrs. Mar-vin Ray. Games were played af-ter which refreshments were ser-ved. Guests were Dale Downs, Donna Fitzgerald, Reeves Dahl-stro- Dennis Scioggin and Ilene Lancaster. Pop corn and candy were given as favors. The occasion celebrated Russell Ray's fourth birthday. Women's Society of Christian Service for Copperton and Lark will meet next Monday evening, February 21 at the home of Mrs. W. J. Myers of Lark. The Elders Quorum of Copper-to- n LDS ward church are in charge of sacrament meeting Sunday, February 20. Guest speaker will be Joseph Weston, author of "Those Amazing Mor-mons." The public is cordially invited to attend. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Robison of Salt Lake City were Saturday overnight guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Olsen and fa-mily. Hyman Smernoff returned home Sunday after a three-month- s' visit in Ely, Nev., with Dr. and Mrs. Noah Smernoff. Copperton Girl Scout troop 98 gave a Valentine party in honor of troops 96 and 97.
