Show Sugarhouse Announces Outdoor Program To Celebrate $207,000 Street Project SUGARHOUSE Final plans for an elaborate festival, celebrating celebrat-ing completion of the widening of Twenty-tint South street, were being completed Thursday under direction of H. Scott UnnelL The official opening of. the S307,-000 S307,-000 street project wul be at 6:30 p. m. Saturday. At that time a car carrying officials will break : i4 a ribbon " at Twenty-first South and McClelland streets. Carnival concessions will be eon-ducted eon-ducted on the streets and sidewalks side-walks during the day.' The main events, however, are scheduled tor the evening. Following the breaking of the ribbon, a band will play "The S tar-Spangled tar-Spangled Banner." Then a program, pro-gram, with Dr. Leslie D. Bur-bldge Bur-bldge as masterot ceremonies, will be given as follows: Welcome by Dr. Burbldge; response re-sponse by Dr. E. E. Monson; summary sum-mary of statistics on the street project by Preston G. Peterson; talks by Commissioners John B. Matheson and J. B. Mullins; pigeon act; clown act, and a hillbilly number, with the band concluding conclud-ing the program. A special orchestra has been provided for a street dance.
