Johnson CHIEFS ADVISE AUTODEALERS With three visiting officials present pres-ent wholesale personnel of the Chevrolet division of General Motors Mo-tors Sales corporation met Friday at the Hotel Utah to outline used car sales programs. Leaders at the session were E. A. Nimnicht Detroit assistant general sales manager of used cars; S. M. Johnson, Oakland, Csl, assistant assis-tant regional manager of used car sales: T. E. Brents Jr. Detroit as- sistant retail sales promotion manager man-ager of used cars, and E. C. Fiedler, Fied-ler, Salt Lake City, zone manager of the Chevrolet division. A greater demand for used automobiles auto-mobiles Is foreseen by Mr. Nimnicht Nim-nicht who said that business Is definitely on an upward trend. 'The market for used cars Is better and I look for continued improvement In new car sales," he asserted. "The old question of a saturation point can be answered by saying there will be no saturation satura-tion point in the automobile Industry In-dustry as long as people drive cars." Mr. Nimnicht pointed out that he has traveled extensively in the country, holding meetings, and that buslnesSv shows excellent improvement im-provement over a year ago. After a session opening at 9 a. m. the officials held a luncheon meeting meet-ing with sales managers of dealer firms in the lntermountaln area. |
