Show PROFITS LEVIES CUT EXPECTED Accountant Society's Head Visits S. L. Relief from the capital gain and undlstributsd profits taxes is not expected at the special session of congress, but should come at the next regular cession, Clem W. Collins Col-lins of Denver, president of the American Institute of Accountant, said here Thursday. On a tour to visit slat organisations, organisa-tions, Mr. Collins will addrea a meeting of the Utah Association of Certified Public Accountant at ths Alts club at T p. m. He was a guest of association officers at luncheon at the club. Mr. Collins described the capital gain and undistributed profits levies as "factors In ths business recession" and aa "holding back recovery." He reported he had noticed a strong boycott of Japanese goods on the west coast Mr. Collins was greeted here by Lincoln G. Kelly, accounting firm executive, and C L Fox, vie president presi-dent of the Utah associstloa. |
