Show OGDEN OFFICIAL, WIFEJNJURED Two Autos Collide Near Bountiful City Commissioner George O'Connor O'Con-nor of Ogden and his wifs. Gracs O'Connor, 60. suffered minor Injuries In-juries when their car collided with another Wednesday night near Bountiful. Mary Cumminga of Ogden. a companion, com-panion, suffered bruises. The three were treated at the emergency hospital hos-pital in Salt Lake City. Deputy Sheriff Calvin G. Roberts of Davis county said the O'Connor machine, northbound, hit the rear of a car driven by Ralph Wood of Bountiful, which waa waiting for another car to pass before turning off toward Woods Cross. Mr. and Mrs. Wood and their passengers, Justice of the Peace and Mrs. William H. Holbrook of Bountiful and Mr. and Mra. Frank Hatch of Woods Cross, were reported report-ed shaken up. D. Ross Hals, 3, of Pocatello. Idaho, was In a local hospital on Thursday with a broken arm and severe cuts and bruises, result of his truck overturning on the mountain moun-tain road between Ogden and Salt Lake City. State Patrolman V. Laub aaid Hale applied his brake at a curve three miles north of the Kaysville junction and that a front wheel locked. The truck rolled over several times and cams to rest 200 feet from where It left the highway. Two accidents in which automobiles automo-biles left highways and struck stationary sta-tionary objects brought about the arrest of one motorist for alleged drunken driving and injured a driver driv-er were investigated by police on Thursday. Albert Jones, 37, of 2475 South Redwood road, suffered a laceration lacera-tion on the chin and poasible chest injuries when the car he was driving driv-ing atruck a concrete bridge abutment abut-ment on South Redwood road. Jones wss treated at the Salt Lake General hospital and released to his home. Police arrested Patrick Kelly, 3. of 602 Seventh avenue, for asserted drunken driving after Kelly allegedly al-legedly rammed his automobile into steel bar protecting a aafety tone at Main and Firat South streets. The accident occurred at 2:30 a. m. Tburaday. Kelly was uninjured. |
