' their belief , in the triumph of right as their support, and upon the i field of battle they gained the greatest triumph for Christianity I the world has eer witnessed. !x - Then what can we say of those individuals, with minds so j warped that they, stood forth and defied the commands of their I country, who scorned to lift their hands for the defense of right and I justice and who sought and gained immunity on the plea that their j conscience forbade they should fight? More proud can be the Mint, who fought and plotted for the fatherland he loved yea, higher may the Hun hold, his head than the .man, protected by the folds of Old Glory,- who crawled from the path of national and ChriMian duty on the unholy plea of conscience. |
