Two classes of cltisena ar exempted thoee whoa taxable Income tall below 1160 and Australian soldiers snd sailors serving abroad. Ths amount any Individual may b required to aubscrlb during any year will not sxeeed six times his average Incom tax tor th three preceding years. An appeal hoard will have power pow-er to sxact a penalty from those falling fall-ing to subacrib a sufficient immmt, an amount qual to th yearly lncom of th preceding three years. This penalty, however, will not relieve th Individual from th obligation to aubscrlb. |
