ROTARIANS : SCHEDULE FETE Salt Lake Rolarlans Tuesday made plans for observance of their rlub'a thirtieth birthday anniversary anniver-sary February 4, a highlight of which will De the attendance of Rotary sons of Junior high school age or over. Honored guests at the anniversary anniver-sary party include Dean F. Bray-ton, Bray-ton, only active charter member, who helped oganlze the Salt Lake club January 31, 1911, and B. F. Redman, first elecled member of the group. In addition, five members who have served the club for 25 years each will occupy seats of honor. They are H. M. Chamberlain, Morris Mor-ris Rosenblatt, Verne A. Tracy, P. J. Purcell and Dr. Arthur C. Wherry. Entertainment for the birthday party will inqude Susanna Foster, actress-singer. Tuesday's luncheon meeting at the Hotel Utah was devoted largely large-ly to business matters, with President Presi-dent Wallace F. Bennett conducting. conduct-ing. Colonel L. II. Duffin of the 145th field artillery, Utah national guard, spoke briefly regarding the guard's regimental fund driv, which will support recreational activities ac-tivities for guardsmen when they begin active training March .1 |
