Show Funeral Riles Set For S. L Man,74 Funeral services for Charles Beck, 74, 126 N. Main, will be conducted con-ducted Friday at 12:15 p.m. at the mortuary chapel at 129 N. Main. Mr. Beck,, the father of Charles Asher Beck, president of Joseph Jo-seph William Taylor mortuary, waa found dead at his residence at 10 a m. Tues-day. Tues-day. He died about three hours till earner 01 a ntarx attack. Mr. Beck Mr. Beck was born in Lehi, Dec. 27, 1874, a son of George and Annie Johnson Beck, and resided in Lehl during; his early life. For many years he was manager of Saratoga Springs, then owned by an uncle, John Beck. In April, 1921, he came to Salt Lake City. Shortly afterward1 he j waa employed with the Deseret News, where he had worked until six years ago. He was a member of Seventeenth ward. Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, He formerly resided at 109 E.24th South and was a member of the Burton ward. He married Ruby Anne Bid die-come die-come Feb. 14. 1896, In Lehi. She died Oct. 28, 1943. Survivors include five sons and a daughter, Charles .Asher and Willard M. Beck, Salt Lake City; Fred A Alvin and Lawrence Beck, LngeUsr-Mrav-ibyintV Salt Lake City; two brothers, Mel-vin Mel-vin Beck, Clearfield, and Ray Beck, Draper; two sisters, Mrs. Hazel Allred. Lehl, and Mra. Mabel Allred, Long Beach, Cal. Services will be conducted by Rulon T. Hinckley, bishop of Seventeenth Sev-enteenth ward. Speakers will be Mark E. Petersen, member of the council of twelve apostles, LOS church, and Lesley Goates. Friends may call at 125 N. Main Thursday from 4 to 8:30 p.m. and Friday. Interment will be In Lehl city cemetery at 2 p.m. |
