"This factor added to a anticipated antici-pated 10,000 Increase In th number num-ber of vehicles to be registered next year ahould serve aa a hint to car owners to complete the new registration as soon aa possible after Dec 15," Commissioner Eli aha Warner aald. This year, up to April, 178.432 vehicles were registered. The procedure resulted In the usual congestion aa th Feb. 28 deadline arrived. Mr. Warner recalled. Registration for 1950 which the commission plana to start 15 daya before Jan. 1. 1950, could even result In worse congestion than last year if car ownera fall to cooperate, the official aald.
