Show CO-OP.MARKET PU1IIAPP1VEB e Uuhns Plan Selling jf Cattle Through .Aid of dAaStociation Arrangements to market the cattle cat-tle produced by the members of the Utah Cattle and Horse Growers' association through tha Western Cattle Marketing association were decided upon at a meeting of the officers and marketing board of the organization held at tha Newhouse hotel Saturday. Ray M. Hagen, representative of the western association, outlined the terms of the marketing contract con-tract and told of tho satisfactory results obtained In marketing cattle cat-tle from other western states. He pointed out that tha association would have to be assured that at least eO per cent of the fat cattle produced In Utah would be turned over'to It for marketing. Tha support of the- federal farm board will bo given -the Utah growers grow-ers in marketing livestock under a cooperative plan, said C. B. Penman, Pen-man, livestock representative of the federal farm board.- He added that through orderly marketing th cattlemen cat-tlemen could ba assured of best possible returns. He said tba future appeared bright for the Industry, and told of work being dona by tha boaVd to help obtain tha best possible prices. . Harden Ben n ion. state commissioner commis-sioner of agriculture, assured tha members that his department would lend its full support In assisting the cattle producers In their marketing problems.
