Show SUES XROLLEY LINE FOR $15,000 DAMAGES The Consolidated Railway and Power Pow-er company is made defendant In a suit to recover damages to the amount of $15,000 that has been commenced by Walter L. Price, administrator of the estate of the late William Cole. The complaint states that Cole was a well man. able to earn S3 a day; that he was the sole support of his wife and family, and that he came to his death by being thrown from the platform plat-form of a Sixth street car on September Septem-ber 30. 1901. It Is charged that the bad condition of the street car tracks and the dilapidated dilap-idated condition of the cars, together with the high rate of speed at which the car rounded the corner of R street were directly responsible for his death. |
