Shilling of Salt Lake City entertained Thursday at a one o'clock luncheon at the Alta club for Mrs. R. G. Frazier and daughter Jean. Mr and Mrs. Joe Bithell visited vis-ited Tuesday at Ophir with Mr. and Mrs. H. P. Hullunger. Mary Ann Swain, daughter of Mr and Mrs. G. O. Swain of Sel-dovia, Sel-dovia, Alaska, formerly of Cop-perton, Cop-perton, returned recently to attend at-tend the University of Utah. She and Lorraine Tobiason will be roommates while they attend school. Jean Fraier left Friday evening even-ing by United Air Lines for Fort Richardson, Alaska, after spending spend-ing the past four weeks with her parents, Dr. and Mrs. R.G. Frailer. Frai-ler. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hudson recently returned home after vacationing in Illinois, Florida, Louisiana and Colorado. Raymond Cowdell and family. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Smith vacationed a week in Wayne Wonderland, Zion's canyon and Grand canyon. They also spent a few days In Las Vegas where they met some friends, Mr and Mrs. L. M. Case of Alhambra, Calif. They returned home Saturday Sat-urday evening. Henry A. Cheever enjoyed Tuesday evening in Salt Lake City as a dinner guest of Mr. and Mrs. Jay Cheever. A birthday party was given last Tuesday in honor of Nanette Santistevan on her thirteenth birthday by her mother, Mrs. Bailey J. Santistevan.
