Lieut R. O. Patterson, Pat-terson, athletic officer, supervised the events. The first event the 100-yard dash, was won in 11V4 seconds by Private McCla-rion McCla-rion of the Twenty-second battery. .The runnln broad Jump was won by Private Bryant of the Twelfth baftery, who cleared seventeen 'feet The Twenty-second Twenty-second battery team composed of Corporal Cor-poral White and Private Daniel, Hlch-cock Hlch-cock and McHUton, won the mile relay in four minutes 23 1-5 aeoonda The 120-yard 120-yard hurdle race was captured by Private Pri-vate McClarlon in 20 t-5 seconds. In the high Jump Private Cook Hackett soared S feet s. good record for a-non-professlpnal. I ' 1 The event of the day, however, was the 100-yard dash for companies'. Company Com-pany O-started the race, and was followed fol-lowed by the Twenty-second battery, company L, company T, Twelfth', battery, bat-tery, company E and company H. The Twelfth battery got first place In 14 -10 seconds. Company H was second with 15 1-10 seconds, and company L third at 15 1-5 seconds. Commissioned officers mingled with enlisted men In this race andv with two exceptions, were the first to eras the tape.
