Wagstaff received word from Charleston Wednesday' that his young son had just drowned, having fallen into a large irrigating ditch wbiclbruns past his home. Mr. Wagstaff left last evening for Charleston over the Rio Grande Western, a a a W. A. Vanoye has ready for eastern shipment a carload of pears. He states that the crop this year is exceptionally good and free from worms.
