Show LAST TRIBUTES PAID TO LATE M. Si MILLER The funeral of the late M. M. Miller ! was'held Saturday afternoon from the 1 family residence, 629 South Main street, under the auspices of the local lodge B. P. O. Elks. The ritualistic services were conduct- . ed by Past Exalted Ruler Lester D. Freed, assisted by the Rev. Benjamin Young of the First M. E. church. A quartette composed of Mrs. Dr. Plum-mer, Plum-mer, Miss Berkhoel. I. J. Evans and Ed Copley furnished appropriate music. A large number of friends of the family fam-ily and many members of the mining exchange attended the services. The deceased was born at Birmingham, Birming-ham, Ia., In 186L and went to New Mexico In 1800. and was engaged in mining until 1891. He then went to Texas and engaged In banking and the real estate business. He came to Salt Lake in 1898 and was in the mining stock brokerage business up until he died. He was elected a member of the governing board of the stock exchange for three successive terms. He is survived sur-vived by a wife and a son 14 years of . e- - |
