Show MURDER PROVOKED BY SWEDE'S SINGING LARAMIE. Wyo., Nov. 21. Charles Bus-sard, Bus-sard, about 25 years old, unmarried, was shot and Instantly killed at a negro resort re-sort at 2 o'clock Sunday morning. Gustave Johnson, Hugo Lllliefeldt, Axel Olson and Erick Anderson, all Swedes, are In the county Jail. Johnson charged with the shooting, and the other three as accessories acces-sories of the fact. Bussard and one of the Swedes engaged In a scuffle In the resort over an attempt of the Swede to sing a song In his native tongue, when the three other Swedes took a hand, Bussard being shot in the melee. A negro swore lie saw Johnson enter the room with a pistol In his hand. Bussard was shot through the heart, a bullet from a 32-callbre revolver lodging lodg-ing in his lung, where it was found at the post morten examination. Bussard fell In the door step, was picked up and placed in a chair in the room, dying while sitting In the chair less than ten, minutes after the shooting, without uttering a word. Johnson will be charged with murder In the first decree. |
