Show COLOMBIANS WANT PAY Will Ask President to Arbitrate Ar-bitrate Difficulty With Panama. LONDON, Nov. 21. A movement is on foot to get President Roosevelt to arbitrate the difference between Panama Pana-ma and the corporation of foreign bondholders bond-holders in regard to the Colombian debt. A meeting of the Colombia committee of the corporation has been summoned to consider the best means of recovery from Panama of a portion of the $10,-000,000 $10,-000,000 paid by the United States in connection con-nection with the canal and it is proposed pro-posed to call a public meeting of the Colombian bondholders for the pulpoae of requesting President Roosevelt to arbitrate ar-bitrate as to the proportion of this amount the new republic ought to pay toward the liquidation of Colombia's j debt. |
