Show DRUGGIST IS HELD UP A Ion robber, dressed In a neat business busi-ness suit and speaking the language of a gentleman of education, stepped Into the Sherwood pharmacy,-Fifth South and Stat streets Wednesday night and, with a revolver directed against F. Py Sherwood, the proprietor, requested him to deliver the valuables in the store to his keeping. Obeying orders, Sherwood elevated his hands, and turned bis back to the robber, rob-ber, who searched his pockets, removing therefrom his valuable, gold watch. Sherwood asked that this be returned, and the robber accommodated him. The robber then turned his attention to th cash register, from which he he-cured he-cured 835, and then left. The robber wore a white handkerchief as a mask. A man who did not care to give his nam reported to Patrolman Cor lee a at 9 o'clock Wednesday night that he had been held up by a Ion highwayman at First North and West, Temple streets, and robbed of 81.50. |
