Altman, Miss Ethel Gardiner, No. 205 South Pine J street, has thrown her friends and acquaintances ac-quaintances into a perfect whirl of exciting ex-citing gossip by appearing as the complainant com-plainant In divorce proceedings. Miss Gardiner and Mr. Altman were to have been married. All the preparations prepara-tions for the wedding were made, when suddenly Miss Gardiner appeared in the role of abused wife seeking separation from a husband. Immediately the Gardiner-Altman nuptials were lndefintely postponed. Mr. Altman and members of his family, who were stopping at the Virginia hotel, have left there. The divorce case Is on, and there you are. Miss Gardiner's early romance dates back to 1902. In that year she fell in love with Walter Hoagland. Finally the pair were married. According to the evidence introduced in court, the wedding was celebrated at Coldwater. Mich.. April 26. 1902.
