Show Silrey's Gun Saved TTin.- Police Captain Browning and Detective Sllvey had some excitement In arresting three m en in - the Board of ? Trade saloon yesterday morning. The three men were beating another man Jn the saloon, sa-loon, when the officers appeared on the scene. The offender Jumped Into a room and closed the door on Silver's hand and would have crushed it had the latter not pulled his gun and threatened to fire. The men gave the names of Murphy, Cameron and Ferguson. They were tried and Murphy Mur-phy sentenced to twenty days, the other two getting thirty days each. . |
