Show SUES FOR $15,000 FOR LOSS OF EYE Charles Waterfall places the price of an eye at $15,000 in a suit for damages filed in the District court yesterday by him against the Sierra Nevada Lumber company. Waterfall alleges that he was Injured while In the employ of the defendant company. He says he was sawing a board with a coarse circular saw on June 6, 1906, when a strip of wood flew off and struck him in the left eye. The sight of the eye was1 ruined. The plaintiff declares de-clares that the accident was due to the Imperfect light of the mill. |
