The top-liner cornea in the form of a condensed romedy, entitled, "What Will Happen Next!" which will be presented by Wilfred Clarke, insisted by Miss Then Csrew and company. The other features will be the "a-mille "a-mille comedy trio on horizontal bars; Kelly and Kent, in s laughable sketch; a downright novelty by Mr. and Mrs. Kdward Kemp in the form of an Illustrated lerture, "Tales of the Desert;" a song and dance turn by Ber-1 Ber-1 nice and boy; George Yeoman, eccentric comedian, com-edian, and the kiuodrome. "The White Slave," by the Georgia Harper Har-per company, drew a large crowd to the Grand last night. The famous old Southern melodrama of Bartley Campbell was well presented. Miss Harper playing a role entirely en-tirely different from anything ho has here-tofore here-tofore essayed here. Other members of the company were well placed, and the performance perform-ance went smoothly. The audience waa much pleased, and the prospects sre for crowded houses from now till Wednesday night. Thursday night and for the remainder of her engagement Miss Harper will play "Ca- mille." "Fra Piarolo," up to date, will be the offering by the Ziun Travesty company at the Lyric all this week, commencing with tonight's performance. This week will be the last opportunity to witness this clever company of comedians, dancers snd singers, who have won universal praise and approval ap-proval during their short stay here. Imogens ManBfield and Eliia Victorins were the prize-winning pair of cake-walkers at the Lyric last night. |
