Show NEBRASKA DELEGATES TO WELCOME BRYAN NEW YORK, Aug. 27. "What Is Home Without a Bryan?" With this placard in Its front ranks the delegation of 125 of the neighbors and friends of William J. Bryan arrived in this city from Nebraska at. half-past 10 o'clock last night. In the delegation were the Mayors of eight cities of Mr. Bryan's State, among them being Mayor Brown of Lincoln, who headed the delegation. . . Among others was J. W. .Outright, Mr. Bryan's former secretary, and the only representative repre-sentative from Normal. ' Harry W. Walker and William Hoge, organizers of the reception to Mr. Bryan, Representative Repre-sentative Sulzer and John.W. Keller of the reception committee, were on hand at the Victoria to welcome them and to assist them In locating their headquarters. headquar-ters. The party left Omaha late on Friday and will remain in the city until Saturday. Satur-day. Other delegations are expected to follow fol-low the Nebraska delegation today. |
