Show EXTENSIVE ORE AT PINOCHE MINE A.-W. Scott came In from his mines in the Bailey Springs district and Ploche durlngthe morning, accompanied by B. 8. Munn, and while here he will tie up some of the properties In that southern locality in which a number of the investors of this city are Interested. In speaking of the situation there, Mr. Scott said that he had mined in every country on earth, and that he had never seen as extensive ore bodies In any country as those that have been developed In Ploche. He said that while there were immense low-grade deposits In the old camp, which would keep Immense reduction plants In operation for many years to come, there had been a considerable consid-erable tonnage of very high-grade ores developed by several companies operating In that' section, which would be ready for the market as soon as the railroad connection con-nection with the main line was completed. Of the Bristol property, Mr. Scott said that the leasers were making several thousand dollars dally out of the ore being be-ing sent to the local smelters, and that there were no less than fifty teams on the road hauling the product to the railroad rail-road loading station. The mine is unquestionably un-questionably a large proposition, and the leaders are doing some excellent work in developing the ground from which they are reaping a rich reward. It Is in this same section that Mr. Scott has some property, and the object of his trip at this time is to close a deal .with Salt Lake parties for more ground. This is to be held partly on his own account, and some of the trade will be In the interest of an English syndicate which be represents in this country. At the Horn Silver property, which "Mr. Scott took a few months ago from some cattlemen in the Bailey Springs district, there have been thirty feet In a prospect hole developed, all In ore, and now he has determined the existence of the ore, he will begin the development of the ground by means of a working shaft which will be started at another point on the ground where better depth can be obtained. The ore' from this, property carries the sensational sensa-tional high value of 400 ounces In silver, and the prospects are that this ground, which is just thirty miles distant from Pioche, will prove to .be one of the richest rich-est producers In that paft of Nevada. |
