The 'tally and score cards were dainty German cards, imported by the hosters. The prizes for bridge were ii warded to Mrs. Thomas Kearns, Mr. Joreph Gallgher and Mrs. Krebbles. Those whe assisted the hostess and the guest of honor during the afternoon were Mrs. M. R. Stewart. Mrs. Frlck and Mrs. Benjamin Ben-jamin C. Lock wood. THE HOUSE committee of the local ledge. of Benevolent and Protective Order of Klks has issued the invitations for the initial reception in honor of the ladies, which Is to be given Thursday evening at the clubhouse. SEVERAL AFFAIRS will be given during dur-ing the coming week in honor of Mrs. Robert Barkley of Helena. Mont., who is the guest of Mrs. Richard A. Keyes. Mr. and Mrs. Keyes will entertain at an informal in-formal dinner In her honor Sunday. Dr. and Mrs. A. C. Ewlng will entertain at a similar affair Monday evening. Mrs. O. K. Lewis and Mrs. Stewart will entertain at a luncheon Thursday. Mrs. Joseph Gallgher will give a small bridge party in her honor Wednesday afternoon, and Dr. and Mrs. Frick will entertain at dinner din-ner for Mrs. Barkley Friday evening. MR. AND MRS. MATTHEW H. WALKER entertained at a box party at "The Children's Wedding" last evening. The guests were Senator and Mrs. George Sutherland. Mr. and Mrs. Louis H. Farnsworth. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Walker. Walk-er. Mr. and Mrs. John MeVlchle, Miss Hague and the Rev. Elmer I. Goshen. Mrs. David Keith also entertained In the same manner. MISS OLIVE JENNINGS will entertain Tuesday evening In honor of Miss Crete Plnkerton. MR. AND MRS. T. C. CRAWFORD are now at home to their friends in their new-Fourth new-Fourth street home. mm MRS. DANA T. SMITH returned last night from California, where she had been for several months. . MRS. HENRY SIEGEL has returned from New York, where she had spent several weeks. MRS. J. ROSS CLARK was in the city yesterday on her way to her home hi Los Angeles. MISS KATJIERINE HARRINGTON left for Butte yesterday. She will probably prob-ably stay through the winter there. S. B. YOUNG and Louis Claws of Detroit, De-troit, who had been in the city for several sev-eral days, the guests of friends, have left for the coast. ' MRS. A. W. SMITH of New York City and Mrs. Josephine Bylngton of Philadelphia Phila-delphia are visiting Mrs. William Lister of Waterloo. They will remain during the winter. THE MARRIAGE of Miss Adelia Taylor and Frank M. Houghton will take place next Tuesday. |
