Show RICHFIELD SHEEPMEN ARE BUYING HERDS (Spselal to The Ttlegram.) RICHFIELD. Oct. 14. Sheepmen In this part of the State are beginning to buy back the flocks they sold at low or average prices earlier in the season at an advance. They are beginning to wonder when the upward trend will atop. There is a greater demand for rams this year than ever before, and the calls cannot be filled. Last year there was an overproduction overpro-duction of rams, the breeders having to ship the surplus away. There are not enough cars here to accommodate ac-commodate the shippers, some lots having been held at Marysvale for two weeks because be-cause there were no cars in which to ship them. Sheepmen in Arisona are paying S4 and $5 per head for good Merino stock. The rangis are in the finest condition. |
