Show REAL ESTATE IS ON MOVE Many Properties Changing Hands and Outlook Is Bright. Walter J. Meeks of the real estate firm of Meeks & Lynch says that the prospects are that the real estate market mar-ket will Improve. Real estate has been active for the last thirty days, and its future activity, will depend largely on the railroad developments. With the beginning of actual construction con-struction work on the Western Pacific from here, the dirt market should show even greater activity. During the last three weeks Meeks & Lynch have done an average business of 110,000 a week. For that period the actual transfers negotiated ne-gotiated by them amounted to 131.000. . A, Fred Wey bought, for a consideration consid-eration of S8000, a piece of land at 121 East First South street, 39xl5 feet, with a right of way at the rear, and the transfer to Fred Little of a proueity facing south on Third South, between West Temple and First West, 66x163 feet, for a consideration of $8000. Lorenzo Snow purchased, through this firm, 10ttx5 rods on Main street between Seventh and Eighth South streets, for $1500. - Isadore Lachman, Jeweler, has purchased pur-chased a "property 2Vx on Main, between be-tween Seventh and Eighth South streets, -for $1250. O. B. Olsen purchased the southwest corner of Third South and Tenth East streets, 49x123 feet, for $1350. He will begin at once the erection of a residence resi-dence on this property to cost $4000. Mary Peck purchased a corner at Third South and Ninth East streets. 2Hx7 rods, for $1350. '- Mrs. Eliza Risley bought a few days ago the property at 815 Palm avenue. This lot is 100x150 feet, and on it is a four-room brick house. The price was $2250. Lorenzo Snow closed a deal with this agency for 6x5 rods; between Seventh and Eighth South streets, from Main street to an alley, for $1000. William Jensen secured 2x6 rods on Sixth South between Main and West Temple, for $S00. James Young bought a forty-acre farm in Mill Creek, the consideration for which Is not stated. Charles G. Berry purchased 24x" rods on Third South between Eighth and Ninth East streets, for a stated price of $950. E. B. Wicks, a real estate dealer, bought 2x6 rods on Eighth South street, between Main and West Temple, facing south, at a stated price of $800. Howard T. Hoover of Los Angeles has purchased Wtxl rods on Third South between Eighth and Ninth East streets, for $950. John A. Walker has secured in the same block 24x7 rods for $950. John W. Pfelfer has bought a large lot on Ninth East between Third and Fourth South strets facing east, for $950. Robert Morris secured 2x8 rods on Eighth East between Fifth and Sixth South streets, for $900. This agency also has several large deals on that will be closed between now and June 1. |
