According to the report of the chairman of- the Board of County Commissioners. C. W. Jon, the bounty fraud agent, is Involved in other serious complications. The report says that "a Mrs. Bertha Peterson Pe-terson and other of Mound Fort interceded inter-ceded with me on behalf of a Mrs. Mc Bride, a widow with four small children, destitute and in poor health, for county aid. Having some previous understanding understand-ing of Mrs.- McRrtde's situation, as aha received county aid for a long time, wnicn was stopped for good cause some months ago. I told her friends to have her call at my office. She did so on Saturday. I toon her to the Sheriff s office, to whom aha related the treatment she had received from C- W. Jones, now In the county Jail at Salt Lake City, connected with the bounty frauds. 8he represents said Jones Is the father of her last child, now 18 months of age. She is willing to have this man prosecuted.
