Belt Terminal and the V'tah Rallwajr company have been signed hy reprcaentatlvea of the etrik-Inn etrik-Inn ahop crafts, bringing the total number of roads In the strike settlement settle-ment to approximately ninety, John Scott, secretary of the shop crafts organisation, announced today. Prospects for signing; up the Rock Island system were bright, despite the fact that the road has . organised a new employee body, Mr. Scott added. According to Information obtained from the main shops of the Utah Railway company, no settlement agreement of the shopmen's strike . has been signed. The main shops, 1 oca ted a t Provo, are opera ted under the direction of the Los Angeles 4k Butt Iake railroad and the Union Pacific system. About 100 men are employed In the Provo shops by the latter roads and the Utah FUlrwsy company has practically all of lis shopwork performed there, paying ha if the expenses of operating and main-tatnlng main-tatnlng the shops. A smaller shop la maintained by the Utah railway at Hiawatha, where a few mechanics are working.
